Indian police are interrogating the one gunman who was captured alive, trying to figure out who organized the attacks that killed over 180 people and injured hundreds, and why. Differing reports claim there may have been just 10 gunmen total, or that accomplices helped the shooters. Despite repeated assertions by India's neighbor and rival, Pakistan, that it bore no responsibility, the attacks have raised the pitch of India-Pakistan tensions to their most dangerous level since the December 2001 suicide attack on the Indian Parliament in New Delhi.
