The cedar "pavilion" for the clematis to climb turned into a shady private sitting area for us in the summer. A surprise came when we took down the dead foliage so the sun could warm us. The sticks looked good naked so we added the bird feeders and all winter we have a circus of finches and juncos coming and going.
