About PBS Vote 2008

The PBS Vote 2008 web site aggregates and highlights the best public media coverage of the 2008 election. By gathering video, news, and online tools from national programs and local stations, PBS Vote 2008 brings in-depth election-related content from PBS' trusted news and public affairs producers to light in a new way.

Through a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, 12 public media organizations have collaborated on a suite of tools to educate the public around key election issues. Partners in the collaboration include: PRX, Public Interactive, National Public Radio, Capitol News Connection, American Public Media, PBS, KQED, and The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Tools from these producers are available for syndication, so you can take them and add them to your web site or social networking page.

PBS is a leading provider of digital learning content for preK-12 educators. Visit our PBS Teachers Vote 2008 micro site for lesson plans, interactives and additional resources for teaching and learning about the 2008 election.
