Hey everyone. Some of you may be wondering, “so what is going on with Robin and her family now?” Well, we are waiting for more presentation requests to fill, and living life on life’s terms. Everyday is a blessing as I wake up and my children are with me, however, they are grown now. They have grown to be very humble, honorable, young adults. I also have several traditionally adopted children who call me mom, and I tell ya, what an HONOR.

Darian is almost out of the house. She is counting down the days. I’ve lost count. I can’t imagine her going off to college but that’s what she will be doing in a year or so.

Anthony has four more years to go, and I tell ya, he is taller than his sister and I. At first, I didn’t let him know he was taller. I just sat back and waited for these two to figure it out, and one day they were standing next to each other, and you guessed it … It hit the fan.

Darian was measuring, standing on her toes, laughing and then got mad because, of course, Anthony just rubbed it, rubbed it, rubbed it and just had to rub it in her face one more time that he is taller than us. Sweet victory for my son.

Darian is planning on going to college in Wyoming because she is in love with a cowboy. He is a bull rider. She will be training with our horses to barrel race, something she has wanted to do since she got her first horse when she was 5-years-old.

Anthony is also planning on attending college in Wyoming. He wants to work on trucks with his dad, so he will be looking into attending an auto tech school. I hope to take all three of them there this summer for a sneak peek at what Wyoming is really like.

Darren and I divorced, which, trust me, when you hear that old country song “Looking for Love In All the Wrong Places,” comes to my mind.

I am involved with a man who has stood beside me through thick and thin. I believe I had to travel that huge circle to realize I love him, and am worthy of his love. He accepts me for Who I Am, How I Am, and Where I Stand, which is beside him. Not below him, behind him, or in front of him, but beside him. I find tears rolling down my eyes even as I type these words because I have never stood like that with a man before.

I am grateful for his love and for everyone else who has supported us, listened to us, cried with us and watched us. All I can say is THANK YOU.
