Last night FRONTLINE swept the Writers Guild Awards documentary and news categories, with awards going to:
+ Michael Kirk and Mike Wiser for Top Secret America (Documentary – Current Events)
+ Marcela Gaviria and Martin Smith for WikiSecrets (Documentary – Other Than Current Events)
+ John Maggio and Martin Smith for Educating Sergeant Pantzke (News – Regularly Scheduled, Bulletin or Breaking Report)
+ Thomas Jennings for Doctor Hotspot (News – Analysis, Feature or Commentary)
