Kaysie Ellingson is the News Director for Texas Tech Public Media—Lubbock, TX’s NPR and PBS affiliate station. Kaysie has worked in the Lubbock station over four years. She entered the station as a video producer and eventually established a newsroom that she now leads. Prior to that, Kaysie produced documentaries throughout Alaska for Alaska Public Media. As a native to Southern California, she graduated with her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. Before her passion for content creation was ignited, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in a remote village in Eastern Kazakhstan.
