Forbidden Stories
Phineas Rueckert is an investigative journalist with Forbidden Stories. He has previously worked at AFP, Global Citizen and the Queens Daily Eagle, and his freelance work has been published in Next City, Atlas Obscura and News Deeply, among other outlets. He holds a joint masters degree in journalism and human rights from Sciences Po, in Paris. For the Cartel Project, published in December 2020, he led an investigation into firearms sales to Mexico, working alongside journalists from more than 20 countries.
