What are the roots of the U.S.-Israel war with Iran, and what happens next?
The Middle East has entered a volatile new era following the U.S.-Israeli bombardment of Iran that began Feb. 28 and killed Iran’s longtime leader. Retaliatory strikes across the region suggest the war is only widening.
In this episode of The FRONTLINE Dispatch, host Raney Aronson-Rath speaks with filmmakers James Jacoby (Remaking the Middle East) and Sebastian Walker (Strike on Iran), who are each working on updated versions of their acclaimed documentaries on the region. Jacoby and Walker discuss their ongoing reporting.
Strike on Iran and Remaking the Middle East are available to stream now on FRONTLINE’s website, FRONTLINE’s YouTube channel, the PBS App and PBS Documentaries on Prime. An updated version of Remaking the Middle East will be released March 10, and a new version of Strike on Iran will air March 31.
