Anaphase
The fibers pull the chromatids toward opposite ends
of the cell.

Anaphase I
The chromosome pairs separate; half of the
chromosomes move toward one end of the cell, the
other half, to the other end.
The chromosomes' sister chromatids do not separate
as they do in mitosis.
