Correct! The cooler, denser air in the balloon has made you heavier. You've avoided the thunderstorm and caught the easterly current at 1,524 m (5000 ft). But there's no time for a nap now! If you stay on this course, you'll be heading right over Manila airport—not a good idea! You need to catch the southerly current at 2,286 m (7,500 ft), which will take you directly over Australia. What are you going to do?

  1. I choose to turn the burner down so that the air will cool.
