Yes, that's correct. And the only box left, water, is the one with the most mass. Great job on a challenging experiment! Notice how all the boxes take up an equal amount of space? The space something takes up is called its volume. So, we can say that these materials all have the same volume.

Look at what you showed with your experiment; equal volumes of materials can have different masses (related to weight). Isn't that interesting? This relationship between a material's mass and its volume is called density.

What does this mean in terms of density?
