Skydive from the StratosphereAltitude: 102,800 ft Freefall! Something seems to be wrong. You feel as though you are floating; there's absolutely no sensation of falling. You are, of course, mistaken. A quick look up reveals that you are quickly moving away from your balloon. Yes, you are falling, but at this altitude there's little air rushing by, so there's no sound except for your own breathing.
