We don't blame you. This is some of the richest farmland in North America—in the area of Quincy, Illinois, which is located in the Mississippi River valley.

Unfortunately, the second photo is also of a farm in Quincy—after the great flood of 1993. Millions of tons of sand were dumped on top of farms up and down the Mississippi valley.

Is there anything good about a flood?
