At the Orlando ROADSHOW in June 2016 a guest brought in an inscribed self-portrait and two books that Roberto Burle Marx had given to his father — also a landscape architect — in the 70s and 80s.
A Brazilian landscape architect, nature lover, and modern artist, Burle Marx is perhaps best known for designing the free-form mosaics that decorate the promenades of Rio's Copacabana and Ipanema beaches.
