There are some ROADSHOW impostors out there, so be alert for imitation antique-themed events. Attending an official ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event is a unique experience, and here's how we keep it that way.

Take a look at this list to be sure! There are some impostors out there, so you should be alert for imitation antique-themed events. Attending a genuine ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event is a unique experience. Find out how we keep it that way:
Buying or selling antiques and collectibles at any ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event is prohibited.
- If items are being bought and sold at an event then it’s not an ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event. If an event permits or advertises the purchase and/or sale of items then it is not an official ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event.
Tickets to an ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event are free of charge.
- If you are asked to pay an entrance fee, buy a ticket, or are charged for an appraisal, then it's not ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and the event is a violation of our official rules. We will never ask you to pay an entrance fee, buy a ticket, pay for an appraisal, or otherwise require you to provide us with any payment information (e.g., your credit card number).
- If you are asked to pay for ANTIQUES ROADSHOW tickets or an appraisal, please let us know at antiques_roadshow@wgbh.org.
All official ANTIQUES ROADSHOW events are recorded for national broadcast on PBS.
- If you don't see our television cameras, then it's not ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.
Each year’s ANTIQUES ROADSHOW event dates and locations are officially announced via press release and will be posted on this website.
- If another source is providing information about ANTIQUES ROADSHOW events that is different than the event information on this website, then the information is incorrect and it is not ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.
