ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes (ARS) Rules
Each person entering to win tickets through the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes (each, an "ARS Entrant" collectively, "ARS Entrants") agrees to and acknowledges compliance with these ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes Rules and the Official Rules, which ARS Entrant acknowledges having read and understood, including all eligibility requirements included below. ARS Entrant further agrees that if selected as a Winner, ARS Entrant will attend their selected ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Event (defined below) at a date and time specified by ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, and will be subject to the terms of the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Release included in these rules under “Release for Entries,” which will also be posted at the entrance to the Event and printed on the ticket to the event and which Release ARS Entrant agrees to sign for any taped appraisal. GBH will not accept duplicate entries from the same person, email address or the same street address. By entering the ARS, you are eligible, but not required, to submit up to two (2) items for consideration in the Producer Picks Contest in the Event in which your ARS Entry is made (subject to the PPC Rules). Each ARS Entrant may only enter for a chance to win tickets for one (1) of the three (3) Events listed above in the Schedule on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW 2026 production tour (the "Event(s)"). Each eligible ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes Winner ("ARS Winner(s)") shall receive two (2) tickets to the Event applied for. Each person who wishes to attend an Event must have a valid ticket and one (1) or two (2) items for appraisal. Only one (1) ticket may be used per person attending. A person may seek to win tickets through the ARS, ARSMS, or PPC, but no one person may win or receive more than two (2) tickets to an Event. The chances of winning in each instance are independent of each other. Entry in one sweepstakes or contest will not affect the chance of winning any other way, except that if you have won more than one of the ARS, ARSMS or PPC, GBH will designate which win remains valid, and all other entries or wins for that same Event will thereafter be void.
When to Enter
The ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes entry period for the 2026 Tour begins on January 12, 2026, and closes on Monday, April 6 2026, at 11:59 PM PT (the "ARS Entry Period").
How to Enter
Individuals may enter ARS to win tickets online with a valid email address and mailing address by completing the ARS electronic ticket entry form available online at https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/ (the "ANTIQUES ROADSHOW website") during the ARS Entry Period. As part of the online entry process, each ARS Entrant will be required to submit an electronic form confirming his or her eligibility. Each ARS Entrant must input all required data on the ticket entry form. Incomplete or inaccurate entries may be deemed invalid or void. In addition to the requirements above, Canadian residents must correctly answer the question about ANTIQUES ROADSHOW that appears on the entry form. ARS Entrants may indicate their preferred entrance time (either morning, midday, or afternoon), and, although GBH will not guarantee the entrance time requested by the ARS Entrant, GBH will attempt to honor such request in the Event the ARS Entrant wins a pair of tickets.
Selection and Notification
Each ARS Winner will be drawn randomly from all eligible, non-duplicate entries with valid email addresses, received during the ARS Entry Period (the “Drawing”). Chances of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Drawing will be conducted on or about Friday, April 17, 2026. After the Drawing, on or about Monday, April 27, 2026, ARS Winners will be sent an email to the email address they submitted with their entry. ARS Winners will receive their tickets approximately three (3) weeks prior to the Event entered. Each ARS Winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Event entered, one for the Winner’s use and the second of the pair for the Winner’s companion’s use. Out of the total number of entries received, two thousand (2,000) ARS Winners will be randomly selected from this entry process for each Event location. A total of four thousand (4,000) tickets will be distributed from the ARS process per Event. Only ticket winners will be notified.
Producer Picks Contest (“PPC”) Rules
These PPC Rules apply to the PPC only. For an additional opportunity to win, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will conduct a “Producer Picks Contest, in which items and their accompanying information that especially appeal to and pique the interest of Producer of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will be selected by Producer.
To enter for a chance to win ANTIQUES ROADSHOW tickets through the Producer Picks Contest, an entrant (“PPC Entrant(s)”) must agree to and abide by these PPC Rules and the Official Rules, which include the Event Attendance Rules.
GBH may, at its sole discretion, decide whether or not to run a Producer Picks Contest for each Event. GBH may decide to change the number of PPC Winners at its sole discretion.
For the PPC only, parents or guardians who meet the age requirements set forth below may submit an entry on the behalf of their minor child or ward by first applying for tickets in the ARS Online Ticket Entry and then completing the PPC entry on behalf of the minor. If that application is selected, the parent or guardian must bring the minor as his or her companion to the Event applied for.
When to Enter
The Producer Picks Contest period for the 2026 Tour begins on January 12, 2026, and closes on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM (PT) (the “Producer Picks Contest Submission Period”). (This is the same as the ARS Entry Period.) Any entries received outside the Producer Picks Contest Submission Period may be discarded without consideration or be considered void.
How to Enter
To win, a PPC Entrant must first enter the ARS, after which each Entrant will be allowed to submit up to two (2) PPC entries on the online entry form, following the instructions online, and include with the submission a description of an item each PPC Entrant would like ANTIQUES ROADSHOW to consider in twenty (20) words or less, a brief story behind the item in two hundred (200) words or less, at least two (2) and no more than five (5) photographs of the item that comply with the GBH upload criteria (which are provided on the entry form page).
Items and their accompanying background information that especially appeal to and pique the interest of producers of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will be selected by the producers from all eligible entries received during the Producer Picks Contest Entry Period. GBH will determine at its sole discretion which entries, if any, may be selected. GBH's decision is final.
Each Entrant in the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes may also submit up to two (2) entries for the Producer Picks Contest for the same Event to which they applied in the ARS, provided each PPC Entrant only submits one (1) entry form for each item.
All entries (including photographs or electronic images) become the property of GBH, will be hereby included within any release subsequently signed by each PPC Winner, and GBH shall have no obligation to acknowledge or return the entries. No photos will be returned to any PPC Entrant.
Selection and Notification
The selection process will begin on or about Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Up to twenty (20) PPC Winners may be selected per Event, at GBH’s sole discretion. If a PPC Entrant is being considered for selection he or she may be contacted by GBH by phone or email, sometime during the selection process (between Tuesday, April 7 and May 5 , 2026). PPC Winners (defined above) will receive an official invitation from an ANTIQUES ROADSHOW representative via email, to the Event the PPC Winner selected for entry, approximately two to three (2-3) weeks before the Event entered. Only PPC Entrants being considered may be contacted. Only PPC Winners will receive an official invitation. All other PPC Entrants will not be notified.
Attending the Event as a PPC Winner
PPC Winners must bring the item that was submitted with the selected entry (and may bring one additional item for appraisal) in order to be admitted to the Event, and agree to attend at a date and time specified by ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.
GBH is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen articles. PPC Winners are responsible for transporting their item(s) to the Event. GBH will not be responsible for moving PPC Winner’s item(s). Owners of large items (including furniture), if selected, may be given special instructions for dropping off their item(s) at the Event, which must be followed as a condition of admission.
PPC Winners may bring a companion. If a PPC Entrant is selected as a winner, their ARS and ARSMS Entries will be removed from the ARS and/or ARSMS pool of entries. The chance of winning for Entries by PPC non-Winners who enter into ARS and/or ARSMS will not be affected by their non-winning entry into PPC.
By being selected as a winner to an event, PPC Winners and their companions agree to adhere to these Producer Picks Contest Rules and the Official Rules, which include the Event Attendance Rules, which PPC Winners and their companions have read and understood.
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes Rules
These ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes Rules apply to the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes only. By entering to win ANTIQUES ROADSHOW tickets through the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes (the “ARSMS Entrant”), each ARSMS Entrant agrees to and accepts these ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes Rules and the Official Rules, which ARSMS Entrant has read and understood, and the decisions of GBH, which are final and binding in all matters related to the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes. Winning a Prize, as defined below, is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements and guidelines set forth in these Complete Rules. ARSMS Entrant also agrees that if ARSMS Entrant wins, ARSMS Entrant will attend at a date and time specified by ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, and will sign an ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Release if requested. ARSMS Entrants must have access to the internet and an active Instagram account to participate. Each ARSMS Entrant selected to win tickets from this ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes (each, an “ARSMS Winner” collectively, the “ARSMS Winners”) is not eligible to win tickets through the ARS in which ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Event tickets can be won. If an ARS Entrant wins tickets to the Event through the ARSMS, their ARS Entry may be removed from the ARS pool of entries. If an ARSMS Entrant also wins tickets in the PPC, the ARSMS Entry will be void and returned to the pool of prizes for other ARSMS Entrants to win.

Each Ticket or official invitation permits admission to the Event on the date and time and at the location specified on the ticket only, no substitutions will be allowed. Each ticket or official invitation admits one (1) person. Only one (1) ticket may be used per person attending. Each ticket is free and has no commercial value. Ticket resale is prohibited. Children 12 years of age or younger, with the exception of children who are attending the Event as a PPC Winner, do not require a ticket to attend an Event. All attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No more than two children may accompany one adult. After exiting the Event reentry is only permitted with express permission at ANTIQUES ROADSHOW’s sole discretion. There is a two (2) item limit per person, except in the case of a “collection,” which is a group of closely related items that may be considered one item. If our appraisers determine that what you have brought does not constitute a “collection,” you will be asked to select just one or two items from your collection for appraisal. If our appraisers determine you have brought a “collection,” they may ask you to select one or two items from your collection as a guide for valuing the overall collection. You must have at least one (1) appraisal item to be admitted and no more than two (2) appraisal items. You may also bring any supporting documents associated with an item (i.e., photographs, family notes, legal documents), as these may help our appraisers provide you with more information about your item. You will not be entitled to more than two (2) appraisals at the Event, even if one of your items is a “collection” and consists of multiple objects. The following items will not be appraised and do not count towards the minimum number of items required to receive an appraisal or be admitted to the Event: vehicles, stamps, stock certificates, paper currency, coins, bicycles, fossils. Glass fire extinguishers, ammunition, fireworks, any hazardous materials or any illegal materials are not permitted. GBH reserves the right to refuse or allow any item for appraisal at its sole discretion. Personal photography, videotaping or recording of the Event is permitted only in designated areas, and is otherwise prohibited. By entering the Event, you are subject to search for any reason, a search may include a physical search by hand, metal detector wands, or EOD detection canines, or other means as may be required by GBH, security agents or the venue; you agree to the terms on your ticket and to the Official Rules, including these Event Attendance Rules and the Antique Firearm Rules; and you understand that you attend the Event or its associated facilities or parking lots at your own risk. GBH, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny entry or remove persons from the Event for any reason. Estimates given are verbal approximations of value only. GBH makes no representation or guarantee as to their accuracy, and/or an item's authenticity. Except in the case of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW shuttles to and from official parking areas, if any, or when GBH moves or places items for recording, GBH will not transport you or your item(s) to the Event or at the Event. GBH is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of articles or harm or injury to persons attending the Event. All Ticketholders are responsible for transporting their own item(s) to the Event. GBH will not be responsible for moving any items. Tickets may not be transferred or assigned to another person other than the companion selected by the ARS Winner with the 2nd ticket, subject to these Event Attendance Rules. Ticketholders agree to adhere to these Event Attendance Rules, including rules on signs posted at the Event, and to the terms included with the ticket, including the GBH Appearance and Materials Release. Attendees may be required to sign such GBH Appearance and Materials Release(s) when requested.
Antique Firearm Rules
2026 GBH/ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Firearm Inspection Policy and Procedure
All security agents will be made aware of the antique firearm inspection policy and procedure. Entry to the Event is conditional upon being subject to physical search by hand, metal detector wands, and by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (“EOD”) bomb-detection canines when security agents deem it necessary. Signs will be posted stating that all attendees are subject to search and that entry into and presence at the Event will be recorded by closed circuit television. Antique firearms brought into the venue by attendees will be inspected by a uniformed police officer or weapons specialist, at a designated gun-check table. At the Event entrance, volunteers will greet attendees and remind them to check their antique firearms at the gun check table. Antique firearms will be inspected to determine whether they are loaded, and if they are safe to be brought into the Event. If an antique firearm is loaded, or if the attendee is carrying ammunition, the ammunition will be removed from the firearm and/or confiscated and, if permitted by law, will be available for retrieval by the attendee after the Event. Each antique firearm will be secured by a cable-tie to render it inoperative and/or inaccessible by the guest, and to visibly show that it has been inspected. The blue plastic will be clearly visible after inspection. Where possible, all firearms will be enclosed in a gun sleeve, tagged with another cable-tie, which will also be fitted at the gun check table. These will be provided by ANTIQUES ROADSHOW at the gun-check table. The cable-tie may only be removed by firearms appraisers, weapons specialists, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW’s director of security, police officers, or event supervisors. If an attendee is seen anywhere at the Event with an untagged firearm, the attendee will immediately be brought to the gun check table where their firearm will be inspected and secured in accordance with this policy. Once admitted into the Event, the attendee will bring the firearm to an appraiser for appraisal. Each attendee will see an appraiser for a verbal appraisal and, if not chosen for recording, the firearm will remain tagged. If the firearm is chosen for recording, the owner will be taken to the greenroom and wait with their firearm, still tagged with the cable-tie and sleeve, until the recording. When it is their turn to be recorded, the attendee will be escorted to the recording area. The cable tie, sleeve and/or case will be removed from the firearm immediately prior to recording. During recording, the cable tie, sleeve or case will not be in place on the firearm. After recording, the firearm will then be returned to its sleeve and re-tagged with a new cable-tie. Cable-ties and Roadshow-owned sleeves will be removed at the gun-check table when the attendee exits the Event. Any ammunition held at the gun-check table will be returned if permissible by law. The following will be clearly printed on each Event ticket: “Even if a firearm is deemed to be Antique under federal law, it remains subject to the laws of the local jurisdiction. Possession and transport of firearms is subject to federal, state, and local laws. It is your responsibility to know, understand and comply with all such laws and ordinances. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW reserves the right to admit or deny any firearms, at its discretion, in consultation with local law enforcement personnel and venue management.”Except in local or state jurisdictions or venues that prohibit ANTIQUES ROADSHOW from including weapons that do not meet the Federal, state or local legal definition of Antique Firearms at its event, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW may allow any weapon that it deems antique. ANTIQUES ROADSHOW reserves the right to admit or deny persons and their objects for any or no reason, and in jurisdictions that permit it, appraise firearms made after 1898, at its discretion, in consultation with local law enforcement personnel and venue management. According to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (and as also defined in the National Firearms Act), “Antique Firearms” means any firearm not intended or redesigned for using rim fire or conventional center fire ignition with fixed ammunition and manufactured in or before 1898 (including any matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap or similar type of ignition system or replica thereof, whether actually manufactured before or after the year 1898) and also any firearm using fixed ammunition manufactured in or before 1898, for which ammunition is no longer manufactured in the United States and is not readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade.
Use of Contact Information
(a) Opt-In Box (checked): By leaving the Opt-in box checked on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes entry form, the PPC Contest entry form, or the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form (the “ARSMS Release Form”), ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner agrees that ARS or PPC Entrant's or ARSMS Winner’s contact information, including name, address, and email address provided by ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner may be collected and stored by GBH or its agent and may be used by GBH or its agent to contact ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner; and that such information may also be given to PBS and its member public television stations, including GBH, and/or the sponsors and licensees of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW so that they may contact the ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner regarding their products or services, including for the purpose of fundraising by PBS, its related entities, affiliates, member stations or GBH. If an ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner decides at a later date that he or she wishes to have GBH remove his or her contact information from its list, the ARS or PPC Entrant or ARSMS Winner may email GBH at antiques_roadshow@wgbh.org with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line and including his or her name and address in the body of the email. Removal of ARS or PPC Entrant's or ARSMS Winner’s name will be accomplished as soon as is reasonably practicable.
(b) Opt-In Box (un-checked): An Entrant or ARSMS Winner who "un-checks" the Opt-In box on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes entry form, the PPC entry form, or the ARSMS Release Form agrees that Entrant's or ARSMS Winner’s contact information, including name, address and email address may be collected and stored by GBH or its agent and used by GBH to contact Entrant or ARSMS Winner regarding the Event, including to send a voluntary survey to winners and attendees about their experience and other information, but in this case, Entrant's or ARSMS Winner’s contact information will not be given to any third parties except those third-party services necessary for GBH to effect communication regarding the Event and deliver tickets. Leaving the Opt-in boxes checked or unchecked will have no effect on the probability of Entrant’s entry being selected or on ARSMS Winner’s eligibility to obtain their Prize. Checked or unchecked opt-in box selections made for your ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes entry form apply to your PPC entry form.
Release for Entries
By submitting an entry for the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes and/or the Producer Picks Contest, or by participating in the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes, each Entrant grants to GBH and/or PBS the right to use Entrant's likeness, picture, address (city and state only), and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, and/or the institutional promotion of, and fundraising for, GBH, and/or PBS, without further consideration, review, approval or payment, where allowed by law. Upon submission by Entrant, all entries (including photographs or electronic images) and all rights pertaining thereto, entirely become the property of GBH, and each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that by submitting an entry they assign and transfer all such rights to GBH and its successors and assigns, absolutely and forever, for any and all copyright terms and all existing renewal terms of copyright whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world and for all uses and purposes whatsoever.
Obtaining, Handling and Using Tickets
Entrants acknowledge that the unlawful or unapproved resale of tickets or PPC invitations is grounds for cancellation of that ticket, and GBH reserves the right to refuse admission to any person found to have bought or otherwise acquired a ticket through any means which does not conform with these Official Rules, the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Sweepstakes Rules, the Producer Picks Contest Rules, or the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Social Media Sweepstakes Rules, to be determined at GBH’s sole discretion. GBH, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny entry or remove persons from the Event for any reason.
Being selected and granted tickets does not guarantee you will be recorded for television. Other methods of obtaining tickets: In addition to the number of tickets issued under the Complete Rules, GBH may issue as many other tickets as it determines at its sole discretion by any method, including by other sweepstakes, competitions, and contests. Rules for any additional such giveaways will be posted on the website of the entity distributing tickets.
GBH may, at its sole discretion, decide whether or not to run a Producer Picks Contest for each Event. GBH may decide to change the number of PPC Winners at its sole discretion.
GBH may also give away or permit the gift of tickets as premiums in recognition of donations, promotional giveaways, and complimentary tickets.
Any and all federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on the tickets, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance of the tickets are the sole responsibility of each selected Entrant.
Disclaimer of Warranties, Release and Limitation on Liability
