Mapping the Damage

RICH GARLOCK: On each excursion below, we took notes on intact structures, location of debris and the stability of the slurry wall. Usually it would be two engineers from Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers (MRCE) and two engineers from LERA. We would then report to Peter Rinaldi, a Port Authority engineer, supervising the below-grade structural issues for the Department of Design and Construction (DDC). We would compile all our notes and MRCE would issue damage assessment maps as snapshots of what was happening that day or week. This is one of those maps.
