Evidence Storage
RICH GARLOCK: For security reasons, city officials were anxious to access the storage rooms inside WTC 6, the U.S. Customs House. Each item was tagged and linked to a legal case. Among items removed were quantities of confiscated drugs and other smuggled paraphernalia, including weapons and potentially explosive stockpiles of ammunitions. Pictured above is the partially collapsed area of an ammunitions storage. In the picture you can see a gun holster and an ammunition box. Taking care not to inhale too deeply, we instructed the customs agent and the contractors on how they could safely extract and remove these items.
