"Avoiding Armageddon" chronicles the life-and-death race between those trying to use nuclear, biological or chemical weapons and those trying to secure or eliminate them. In this section, you will have a chance to learn more about the intriguing people featured in this eight-hour documentary.

Personal Tales
In Personal Tales you will meet eight very different people - from the Palestinian teen who longs for peace, but is surrounded by violence to a postal worker who beat the odds and survived an Anthrax attack.

About the Series
About the Series introduces the people behind the series and shares some of the exciting producers' stories gathered during the nearly two years of filming in some of the most dangerous places on earth. The site also shares an exclusive interview with media visionary Ted Turner, the founder of Ted Turner Documentaries.

The Episode Gallery features highlights and summaries from the four programs. "Silent Killers: Poisons and Plagues," is about chemical and biological weapons; "Nuclear Nightmares: Losing Control" tells of past and immediate nuclear dangers; "The New Face of Terror: Upping the Ante" looks at terrorism around the world; and "Confronting Terrorism: Turning the Tide" asks how mankind can create a safer world while being prepared to combat the worst.
