The Music 
|
The Brubeck family is unique in the world of music. Never in recent times has an entire family been as prolific and talented. Dave has been married to his college sweetheart, Iola, since 1942. She raised six children and contributed to Dave's career as his principle lyricist for musicals and sacred music. Four of their children are professional musicians who have performed and recorded jazz with Dave and worked with others in a wide variety of musical styles. |
