Fishmeal Aquaculture

Fishmeal in Aquaculture

What are the risks involved with catching fish to feed other fish?

Sardines used for fishmeal

Many marine scientists are concerned about the immense volumes of wild ocean fish that must be caught to feed these farmed animals, a fact that also involves food safety issues for consumers.
