Synopsis of the Scene
 
At the Savoy Ballroom, a famous Harlem hotspot of the '40s, Husband finally meets up with his long-lost sweetheart Lou Bessie. But Lou Bessie has changed her name, and her affections. Her new boyfriend Bucket, the club's suave emcee, watches the pair without worry from across the dance floor as his pals chide him.
