 I think people my age were affected very hard by the attacks. Since kids my age are still in high school, a lot of them felt like there was little they could do to help. Being able to help on September 11th really made me feel that I could do something and not just stand around. Helping with the rescue and recovery efforts was a rewarding feeling and it helped me cope with the disaster.
