MATHEMATICS
DIRECTIONS: This section of the test is designed to measure your skills in mathematics. You may perform all calculations on paper however, you will not be allowed to use a calculator during the test.
Why? This section of the test measures mathematical skill. While firefighters are taught specific formulas on the job, it is necessary to have a good understanding of basic mathematical functions in order to use them, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, and measurements.
