Today love is a good day
To begin again
Aunque digan que estoy loca
Loca por tí
Aunque digan que las cosas
Siempre tienen fín
Hoy amor puede amanecer
Hoy amor puede amanecer
Love not mistaking it
It's here now and I'm taking it
Help me now like you've never helped before
I don't think that I can stand this any more
Today love is a good day
To begin again
To begin again
Today love is a good day
To begin again
To begin again
To begin again
Al recordar de mi llorar
De tanto sufrir
Con fé recordar sabía que estuviera más feliz
Hoy amor puede amanecer
Amanecer
Hoy amor puede amanecer
Amanecer
Amanecer
Today love is a good day
To begin again
To begin again
Today love is a good day
To begin again
To begin again
To begin again
Amanecer
To begin again
Amanecer
(English Translation)
Even though they say I'm crazy
Crazy for you
Even though they say things
Always have an endv
Today is a good day for love to blossom
In remembering my cries
Of so much suffering
With faith I'll remember
I would have been happier
Today love can blossom
Blossom
Today love can blossom
Blossom
Blossom

In 1994, Lysa formed her own band, taking a hiatus in the summer of 1996 to join Semaphore/Big Pop recording artist El Vez as a singer, dancer and guitarist for tours of Europe and the United States. Her debut performance in the feature film, "Star Maps" (Fox Searchlight) landed her a nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards. She can also be seen in the film "White boy" (B.A.A.). She was the musical director for the "Star Maps" soundtrack and for the feature film "Blink of an Eye" (Arrival). Her debut CD "Tree of Hope" was released by Flores own independent East Los Angeles record label, Bring Your Love Records. Not only can "Amanecer" be heard on the PBS series "Senior Year," but other tracks from the debut CD can be heard on the new Telemundo series, "Reyes y Rey". Lysa plays a singer/songwriter named Luna on the series, singing in both English and Spanish.
