After two successful albums and participating in MTV's "Free Your Mind" spoken-word tour, Reg E. Gaines collaborated with performer Savion Glover on the successful and critical triumph, "Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk." Songwriter/Producer Bill Lee's previous musical producing credits include songs for "Melrose Place" and "Pacific Palisades" and numerous CD releases. Together, Gaines and Lee collaborated to create the outstanding original score for all 13 episodes of the series and to establish separate musical themes for each of the characters.
