Nobody's Watching
Tara Ellis

Lyrics

I've been sad too long and
I need this darkness to move on
Ready for sun
Wanna see light in my mind
Yeah

No matter what it takes
No matter how long I got to pray
Gonna learn to play
Anytime of day in the sunshine

Wanna feel joy unlimited
Wanna feel uninhibited
Today and everyday

(Chorus)
I wanna live like my life
Depends on it
I wanna love
Like I've never been hurt
I wanna fly like the world
Is at my feet
I wanna dance
Like nobody's watching.

Alright now
Alright yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm going out tonight
Gonna watch them pretty city lights
Looking for fun
Ready for love in my heart, yeah
No matter who they are
No one's taken my piece of mind apart
Moving to the beat
All I really need is a new start, yeah.
I wanna feel joy unlimited
Wanna feel uninhibited
Today and everyday
(Chorus)

Live with everything you've got to live
Show the world what you've got inside
Love with everything you've got to give
And your dreams will come to life

(Chorus)

(Repeat Chorus)

Bio

Tara Ellis was born in a small town in Oregon, 1977. At the age of 13, her family (Parents, two older brothers, younger sister) moved to Alaska. There she became involved in several singing groups. The first was a folk band, The Teachers Pets, which included two girls playing fiddle and their teacher on the guitar. She helped put together the group, Learning to Fly, and then went on to sing in a rap group, Tru Sol, recording a few singles that were played on the local radio stations. However, she soon felt the need to pack her bags and head for the stars, move to Los Angeles and search for the solo sound of Tara Ellis. She's recorded several demos and found some time to sing in some local bands such as Justice League, The Soul of John Black, Josie Aiello and her very own self titled band. Now she's writing and recording her own material, including "Nobody's Watching" for "Senior Year." In the words of Tara Ellis, "I want to channel something that will inspire and heal the friends of the world. Music is the life force that will do just that."
