Todos que convierten sueños en realidad
Su lucha triunfará
Su alma y su mente ganará
Si señor, los que aprenden el baile
Lograrán, reír con la vida
Quando das todo lo que puedes dar,
Su fuerza se aumenta
Y su corazón crecera.
Si señor Los que aprenden el baile,
Lograrán, reír con la vida.
Vida
Vida
Esos que se mueven y se animan
Hace nueva formas de vida
Su espíritu
De nuevo nacerá.
Si señor, los que aprenden el baile
Lograrán, reír con la vida.

Cuando das todo lo que puedes dar,
Su fuerza se aumenta
Y su corazon crecera.
Si señor
Los que aprenden el baile,
Lograrán, reír con la vida.

Loose English Translation
All who convert their dreams into reality
your fight will be a triumph and your mind and soul will win.
Yes sir - all who learn the dance will be able to laugh with life.
When you try with all you can your strength will augment
and your mind and soul will win
Yes sir - all who learn the dance will be able to laugh with life.
All those who move with enthusiasm towards a new way of life
your spirit will grow.
Yes sir - all who learn the dance will be able to laugh with life.

Ozomatli is a band that believes the future of urban America is "already
here, already singing, and already dancing salsa to a hip hop samba."
The Black-Chicano-Cuban-Japanese-Jewish-Filipino band is a musical collision
of cultural diversity which explains for their unique sound. "The
year was 1995 and chaos washed the streets, rubbing strength into the
musical revolution taking place on the eastside, southside, upside and
downside. Ozomatli was on all sides, connecting warriors from all tribes,"
states band member Ra™l PachÈco. Wil-Dog Abers, a founding member of Ozomatli
(and alum of Fairfax High School), remembers starting the band to raise
money for the Peace and Justice Center. This commitment to social change,
community-building and embracing diversity was why Ozomatli was the perfect
choice to create the title song for the PBS series "Senior Year."
