To make your brittle star, you will need:
 

Index Cards
Index Cards

Scissors
Scissors

Crayons
Crayons

Pipe Cleaners
Pipe Cleaners

Glue
Glue

 
Step 1:
Fold an index card in half. Cut out two circles for the brittlestar's body.
 

Step 1: Cut out circle from index cards  

 
Step 2:
Color the body pieces.
 

Step 1: Color the circles with crayons
Step 3:  Glue pipe cleaners  on to body

 
Step 3:
Glue the other circle on top of the pipe cleaners so you can no longer see the ends and both circles line up. Let dry.
 

  Step 1: Bend the pipe cleaners

 
Step 4:
Shape the pipe cleaners to mimic the rays of a brittle star.
