The Broadcast:
As the 108th Congress convenes, Republicans find themselves in control of both houses of Congress and the White House, something that hasn't happened in fifty years. The last time the GOP wielded this much power was January 1953 when Republicans captured majority control of the 83rd Congress.

Throughout the 108th, the possibility of war, the struggling economy, new leaders in the House and Senate and the 2004 presidential campaign, will all play major roles in the decisions members of Congress will make in the months ahead.

The 108th Congress: Crisis and Conflicts examines the issues the House and Senate must grapple with and the people who will shape the debate. The following are reports from the broadcast in both text and audio.
