Robin Williams’ illustrious career touched five decades; his death Monday was a shock to fans both young and old. From his appearances on the “Richard Pryor Show” in the late 1970s to his breakout role as the lovable alien on “Mork & Mindy” (1978–1982) to his Oscar-worthy performances in “Dead Poets Society” (1989), “The Fisher King” (1991) and 1997′s “Good Will Hunting,” which earned him the award for best supporting actor, Williams brought his humor and honesty to every role.

It’s impossible to characterize the actor, who was 63 when he died, by just a handful of roles. Survey any group of people and they will each give you a top 10 list of their favorite Williams performances as diverse as the film industry itself. To exemplify this, we looked to IMDb — arguably the most comprehensive inventory of films and television on the web.

Below is every film, television show and stand-up performance in which Williams made an appearance — from lead role to minor character. The list is ranked by IMDb user ratings. What would your top 10 look like?
