U.S. Design 1975-2000, an exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, explores the idea that design is relevant everywhere in our society: from the shape of a swimming pool to the contours of a toilet brush.
The exhibit examines the concepts that shape our ideals in architecture, graphic design and industrial design. By placing U.S. design in the historical context of international developments, it challenges us to examine what Americans find aesthetically pleasing, and why.
