Rwandan Genocide: 15 Years Later FLASH VERSION
In the spring of 1994, an estimated 800,000 Rwandan Tutsis and Hutu political moderates were slaughtered by Hutu extremists, leaving physical and mental scars across the country. Photojournalist Kathryn Cook traveled to Rwanda in the winter of 2008 to document how the country is dealing with the genocide's fallout.
