Washington D.C.'s Bike To Work Day 2009 FLASH VERSION
As people look for ways to save money and conserve energy during the recession, cities across the U.S. hosted Bike To Work Day celebrations Friday to encourage two-wheeled, human-powered commuting. In the nation's capital, the Washington Area Bicyclist Association expected at least 7,500 cyclists to participate. Here are some scenes from the event.
