On Monday, the space shuttle Atlantis lifted off on the fifth and final mission to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. The crew will add a new camera, replace the telescope's positioning gyroscopes, and make other changes. Since Hubble's launch in 1990, four crews have shuttled up to upgrade and make repairs on the orbiting observatory.
