At the 1993 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Seattle, President Clinton gave all participants a leather bombardier jacket, which they wore in their group photo, starting a new tradition. Leather jackets made a re-appearance at the 1997 summit in Vancouver, Canada, pictured here.
