Vera Pavlova Reads ‘Eternalize Me Just a Bit’ and Other Poems

Vera Pavlova was born in Moscow and began writing poetry at the age of 20. She is the author of 14 collections of poetry and the librettos to four operas and two cantatas.

Her poems have been translated into 17 languages, and she is currently one of the best-selling authors in Russia. She is the winner of numerous awards, including the 2001 Apollon Grigoriev Prize.

One of her four poems published in the New Yorker were chosen by the Poetry in Motion program and displayed in subway cars in New York and in buses in Los Angeles.
