NewsHour Plus and Gizmodo Talk iPad and the 'Cloud'
We're kicking off a new series of conversations called "NewsHour Plus" here on the Rundown that will explore how science and technology intersect with our daily lives.
With the April 3 release date for Apple's iPad inching closer, we sat down with Matt Buchanan from the tech and gadget site Gizmodo to discuss the buzz over the highly anticipated device. We also spoke about the legal battle between Apple and phone-maker HTC, and the behind-the-scenes effort to expand data storage on the Web - In the tech world, the effort is called "the cloud" because "who knows where your stuff's being stored," Buchanan told us. But, he says, "if you look inside it looks more like the Matrix than anything puffy and white."
