Politico Reporter: Immigration Issue Throws a Wrench Into Washington

Politico reporter Andy Barr, who has been covering Arizona's controversial new immigration law and its aftermath, stopped by The Rundown to talk about the fallout in Washington and whether Congress will take up the hot-button issue this election year.

"The truth is there's not a lot of motivation on the national level for either Democrats or Republicans to do much about it," Barr said. "For either party, it's kind of hard for them to put together any sort of coalition that agrees with it."

Barr also assessed the political gamesmanship taking place and which party stands to gain the most from dragging out the debate this year.
