Shields and Gerson Grade Obama's Campaigning, News Corp. Donation

By: Hari Sreenivasan

Syndicated columnist Mark Shields and Washington Post opinion columnist Michael Gerson, sitting in for David Brooks, stopped by The Rundown before this week's broadcast appearance and disagreed whether President Obama's campaigning will resonate with voters ahead of this year's midterm elections.

They also examined the implications of Fox News parent company News Corp.'s $1 million contribution to the Republican Governors Association.

Just as the discussion took an etymological turn, Gerson suddenly found himself on the receiving end of some air conditioner condensation, but that's not the first thing we've had go haywire while the cameras are rolling.
