What giving birth to a tropical depression looks like
The thirteenth tropical depression of the Atlantic Ocean season formed Monday, and NASA caught it on video. Here, the development is captured by satellite imagery over three days.
According to NASA, Tropical Depression 13L was born about 650 miles east-southeast of Bermuda and forecasters at the National Hurricane Center expect the depression to strengthen into a tropical storm. If it does, 13L will be named "Lorenzo."
