Over 100 Community leaders from the Upstate of South Carolina joined together on August 18, 2002 for a town hall meeting about tolerance and unity in the aftermath of September 11th. The Greenville City Council officially declared September 11th Not In Our Town Day, and other neighboring cities followed suit.
