And
this is the real economic life. This is the real story that
is happening. We can discuss the economic rules, the religious
legislation, the laws, whatever. These things can't be changed
immediately. That's how the rules of life are established
and how you have to deal with your problems. Of course there
are more subtle things. The subtle things come out when you
are involved in a precise business activity. For example,
for awhile, I did a television series on Russian television, so
I know exactly how money's redistributed, and where the armed force
pressures come in. It's a story that might be interesting
to hear, because in a way it's funny. I did the series for
the Century of Cinema series on world cinema, showing films.
And it was accepted by the management of the company, and the contract
was signed between my company and the television company, and 25
people from the television company signed the contract, but in two
months, as I understood afterward, there were--every one of them
was sure that it will never happen. That's it.
