Tessa Munro was born in Peru and spent her childhood summers with relatives in Haiti. While growing up, she was a soloist with the Christina Heimlich Dancers and performed in all of her school plays. She began to seriously study theatre at James Madison University. After graduating, she continued her acting studies at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, DC. She has acted in several plays, including "Blithe Spirit," "Venus," and "Portrait of a Woman" as well as numerous commercials, industrials, television programs, and films, including "Pain" and "Mentality."
