Brenna Berger is a freelance writer and military community volunteer. She writes the Domestic Ops column for Elite Magazine and is a former Home Front columnist for the Fayetteville Observer newspaper. Her columns chronicle the ups and downs of life as a military spouse with a husband who has been at war for the better part of a decade. She has also covered military interest feature stories for the paper. Since leaving full-time employment, she focused on raising her children and volunteering extensively in the military community. She received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Richmond and a graduate certificate in Professional Communication from East Carolina University. Brenna lives in Fayetteville, NC with her husband, an active-duty Army officer, and two children. Brenna is a voracious reader, news junkie, and an incredibly slow runner.
