John Bly is an antiques dealer who worked with Sotheby's for four years before joining his family business, which was established in Tring in 1891. In 1991 he opened additional premises in the West End of London. He is also an author, a lecturer, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. He is presently Chairman of the British Antiques Dealers' Association.
