Penny Brittain is an independent fine-art consultant in East Anglia, advising on the acquisition and sale of works of art, conservation and valuation for insurance and probate purposes. Penny's main field of expertise lies in 18th- and 19th-century furniture and objects, particularly in relation to their place in the English domestic interior, together with all aspects of decorative arts of the 20th century. As well as the BBC's ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, Penny has also contributed to other BBC antiques programs, including The Antiques Inspectors, The Antiques Show, and Going for a Song. She also appears on the Radio 4 series Hidden Treasures and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
