Jim Collingridge is a specialist in jewelry and silver. He was the former deputy chairman of Christie's South Kensington and is a fellow of the Gemmological Association. He has over 50 years experience in the business, having worked previously for the auctioneers Debenhams, which became part of Christie's International in 1975 and where he continues to work in an advisory capacity.
