Alastair Dickenson is an independent dealer based in the West End of London, specializing in antique silver. He started working in the antiques business in 1971, valuing and cataloguing for the Silver department of Phillips. He has been Director for both Asprey's and Tessier, and he lectures widely, particularly on fakes. He is a freeman of the Goldsmiths Company and the City of London and for nine years was a member of the Antique Plate Committee.
