Bill Harriman is director of firearms for the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, which is based near Wrexham, North Wales. He is also an independent consultant specializing in all firearms, ballistics and general weapons, as well as the law relating to them. He is a member of the Academy of Experts. In 1998, the British home secretary appointed him to be a member of the statutory Firearms Consultative Committee.
